Our Support Process
1. Consult Phone Call

Our first-touch consultation phone calls with our experienced Director include all the information you need to plan your/your child's journey:
- discussing you/your child's presentation, strengths, and development areas
- discussing our assessment and therapy processes and costs
- discussing therapy funding options that may be available for your child
We work to build a personalised quote and plan for your needs and will email this to you, obligation-free.
2. Initial Assessment
$190 per hour
The type of initial assessment we choose depends on your concerns/goals.
Our speech therapists can assess within the following areas:
- articulation/ speech sounds
- understanding and using language
- social engagement/ communication
- fluency/ stuttering
- literacy (reading, spelling, writing)

Typically, assessments can be completed in 1-2 hours, depending on the complexity/depth of your requirements. Your consult quote will specify the time needed for your assessment.
3. Therapy Sessions
$95/ half-hour or $190/ hour
Following initial assessment, if therapy sessions are recommended, you can work with the Speech Therapist to determine what these will look like (frequency/duration/location), and agree on goals for your child to work on. See below for the different therapy support types that we currently offer.
Our therapy sessions can run for:
- 30 mins (incl. 25 mins direct therapy + 5 mins planning and legal documentation)
- 60 mins (incl. 50 mins direct therapy + 10 mins planning and legal documentation)
Assessment and Progress Report Writing
A range of report types and levels of detail can be provided following your child's initial assessment, or as a reflection of progress within or at the end of a period of therapy. Reporting is charged per hour of completion in the following categories:
Quick Handout
FREE
A brief 1-page summary of assessment outcomes and next steps, FREE with every initial assessment.
Summary Report
$285 (1.5 hrs)
2-3 page written report outlining the most important parts of your child's assessment results, key recommendations and key strategies.
Detailed Report
$570 (3 hours)
4+ page written report detailing your child's background history, all relevant information collected in the assessment session, their assessment results (including strengths and areas for progress), and key recommendations and strategies for home and education (where appropriate).

Therapy at Home
What better location for your child's learning that in the comfort and familiarity of their own home!
As we love to ensure your child's therapy is functional and transferrable, our therapists can adapt to any environment, activity or preferred play item at home to ensure your child's learning engagement and success!
Therapy at School/ Kindy
Time in education settings (i.e. child care, ELC, pre-school, school) makes up a large proportion of a child's every day life!
Our Director has spent most of her career working with children in schools and pre-schools/ELCs and is very familiar with working alongside teaching staff to support a child's holistic therapy progress.
In Clinic Therapy

Sometimes a specific, consistent space and structure can be really helpful for children to focus on their learning and achieve great things!
Our purpose-built clinic space will contain everything your child needs to succeed in their goals in a safe, nurturing and playful environment!
Online Teletherapy
Teletherapy (or online) support is a convenient and flexible way to help your child access the therapy they need in the safety of their home/ education setting.
Teletherapy does away with the need for travel time and costs, allowing your child's therapy to fit seamlessly into your daily life.
Our online sessions are super engaging and make the most of the joys of modern technology!
Home/ School Programs
Can't access in-person therapy?
We would be happy to put together a tailored therapy program for your child in order to support their continued progress outside of direct therapy supports. Therapy programs are easy for education staff or parents to deliver and can sometimes be completed independently by children.
Your therapist will ensure regular communication with you to maintain support in the completion of your program.
Travel Fees
There is no additional fee for travel to clients within a 10km radius of Hahndorf.
Visits outside of this radius will incur a fee at a percentage of the hourly rate, reflecting the travel time taken.
